The Studio Intensive Program provides experienced artists with the time, space, and community to develop a body of work and participate in a creative dialogue with peers during PenArt’s quiet season. Combining theory, practice, and feedback, this program encourages experimentation and exploration within self-defined projects.
Facilitated by Kendra Bulgrin, lectures, discussions, and readings on relevant art-making topics, as well as individual and group critiques will supplement independent studio activity throughout the two-week session. All approaches to painting and drawing are welcome. Studios are open Tuesday - Saturday each week, 8am - 5pm. Kendra will lead activities on Tuesday, 2/20; Friday, 2/23; Wednesday, 2/28; and Saturday 3/3, 9am - 4pm.
